As CEO of Rubixis, Manoj leads company’s general and product development strategy. Prior to Rubixis, Manoj was CEO of True North AR and its subsidiary California Service Bureau, a healthcare A/R outsourcing services company that served over 70 hospitals in CA and Hawaii. He acquired True North AR with a private equity firm, and led it to its successful acquisition by Otto Group, a German conglomerate. Manoj grew the company's Revenues and EBITDA by over 300% in 7 years and generated in excess of 35% annual IRR to private equity investors. Manoj has also held strategy-consulting positions at Boston Consulting Group and Capital One. His research has been published extensively in academic journal and books and has led to patents on design of artificial intervertebral disc in human spine, and automatic header height control mechanism in combine harvester. He holds a PhD in Engineering from Rutgers University, and MBA with honors from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Shrirang Nene leads all product development and technology initiatives for the company. Prior to Rubixis, Shrirang Nene was CTO of CSB/True North AR, where he led the company’s new technologies and product development; data and network security, scalability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and network planning. Shrirang developed several innovative healthcare revenue cycle products that led to the company’s successful expansion into additional healthcare revenue cycle areas and grow its revenues by 300%. Prior to CSB/True North AR, Shrirang was Vice President, Product Development at Adhesion Technologies, a financial services software company. Shrirang was co-founder and VP of Product Development at Ettaché prior to its acquisition by Adhesion Technologies. He has over 20 years of experience in leading technology teams in developing complex applications and architecting highly scalable and available infrastructure. He holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Florida.
Dr. Vipul Gupta is a seasoned technology leader with a unique blend of academic, research and hands-on product development experience and a broad understanding of systems and application technologies. He leads various research and development, innovation and product development initiatives at Rubixis.
Vipul has authored over forty refereed technical publications in the areas of security, large-scale computing and mobile/embedded devices. He is the grantee of five US Patents and the author of several RFCs and internet-drafts at the IETF including RFC 4492 which standardizes the use of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) in SSL/TLS. His contributions to major open source projects -- Firefox, OpenSSL and Apache -- were instrumental in bringing the ECC next-generation public-key technology to HTTPS, the Internet's most popular security protocol.
Prior to joining Rubixis, Gupta was an Architect at Oracle and led a team of hardware, software and mechanical engineers in developing Oracle’s first end-to-end Device-to-Datacenter solution. He made several presentations to C-level executives including Mark Hurd (Co-President, Oracle), Jeff Henley (Chairman of the Board, Oracle) and external business leaders, partners and customers on the value proposition of the Internet of Things.
Before then, Gupta was a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystem where his research earned him the 2008 Innovation Award, the 2004 Chairman's Award, two Sun Labs Technology Transfer Awards and the Computerworld Horizon Award 2006. His development of the world's smallest secure web server, Sizzle (about the size of a quarter-dollar coin) received the Mark Weiser Best Paper Award at the IEEE Pervasive Computing and Communications Conference in 2005 and was described as the ”biggest breakthrough in sensor network security in the last year ”.
Prior to joining Sun, he was an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York (SUNY), Binghamton. Gupta received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
Rick is a private equity investor and currently serves on numerous boards. Prior to founding Stratford Investments, he worked as a general partner for Peterson Partners - a middle market private equity fund located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He sourced, invested in and sold numerous companies in addition to serving on over eighteen boards including Vivint. Previously, he worked at Hewlett Packard and Arthur Andersen. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
Madhu heads business development, marketing and strategic partnerships groups at Rubixis. Madhu has over 15 years of senior management experience in Business Development, Operations, Finance and Corporate Strategy in Financial Services, Transportation, Technology and Healthcare industries. Madhu is a highly effective leader adept at building, developing and leading global cross-functional teams. Madhu’s professional experience includes senior roles focused on business unit operations, business development, finance, and strategy in a major private equity real estate portfolio company, management consulting at Booz & Company and developing operations research based solutions at SABRE. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University.
